I currently have 2 150 watt full spectrum black boxes, over my 72 bow reef as of now,and getting great growth, but looking to upgrade to a programmable led system, can anybody help me looking for quality at a fare price, any suggestions, please

I am in the same boat as you, I am looking at the Hydra 26 HD. I am thinking two of them over my 90

I have the Hydra hd it's a good light so far we will see long term tho

Ive heard natural sunlight is the best you should just put the tank next to the window. Best thing it'll be free!

Thanks for all the great suggestions , I have much to consider, and may need to save a little more, but I have a direction thanks

It depends on what you are using them for. In a fish only tank, lights that make the tank and fish look nice are good enough and will also work with non photosynthetic corals. However, photosynthetic corals require bright lights with the right spectrum. I have seen advocates of metal halides, T5 and led. Personally, I like the efficiency and low heat of LED lights.

Me to, just wanted to know a good full spectrum programmable lighting system for reef, of course I be forgetting I have fish sometimes, lol
