Looking for some advice on upgrading my LED lights on my tank. I have a 60 gallon tank and it's 48" long, 13" wide and 25" tall. I have the 48" to 60" current marine pro over for tank the past 20 months or so. This tank is zoas and LPS. I get okay growth but I'm looking for a better light. Looking for some recommendations. Thanks in advance.
Jay

What is your budget? Do you like the LED or do you want to go something different? What about a hybrid?

I was going to stick with LEDs on this tank because I was thinking that the ATI hybrid would run me close to $2k on this tank. I'd like to try and keep it under $1k.

For around 1k I would recommend 2 AI 52's. That would be a good upgrade from the current light strip you have now. I would say 2 radions but the radions are a big more expensive.

I did the Orbit + a retro fit. Best of both worlds.

Any decent led will do if you want to upgrade led only, just choose the color you light(kessil is aqua, SBri flight is Boyal blue ish(more like the orbit) etc.

Kessil AP700 may work as well. Thanks Salty I forgot about them. I'm not sure what the coverage is on those guys but they are around $700 I believe.

***Edit*** $895 on most big reef retailers online.

Yea, I saw that in person on a 48x24 tank at 12 in. the coverage was DEAD smooth. WITH MY METER..... $700 used here on r2r.

I just installed Orphek Atlantic Compact V4 plus over my 60 cube. I have no experience yet with coral growth yet with this fixture. Runs about $875. Comes with everything including he controller which is great and the construction is very solid.
