Upgrading my T5's thinking ATI

I want to upgrade my t5 glo to an ATI fixture but not sure which one my tank is 48 inches but could I use a 36 with more bulbs thanks

It'll be uneven but it'll work. what fixtures are you looking at in the 48 in? what live stock are you trying for. I had 4 tubes and a meh led strip and had no problems. The bulbs were quite low in a canopy.

Yea thats the bomb. Look in the ATI factory seconds here on r2r. You might need to keep it low over the tank, or have higher rockwork.

Everything is stable now and growing really well. have everything from a Walt Disney to a green slimmer. Sorry pictures taken with my cell phone.

Just the t5's no leds with

I would stay away from dimmable T5's. Just look up the net about issues with them. The bulbs wear out faster when dimmed also. Go regular sunpower IMO.

I love the dimmable, yes the bulbs do wear out a little quicker, but the only bulbs I have dimming are bulbs 3 and 6 (Channel 1 - dusk/dawn effect), but for those tubes I am running the Euroquatics E5 Retrofit T5 LED Lamps Blue Pop - 48 Inch. They a little more expensive, less par than a typical t5, but everything is doing well. Below is what it looks like with just the 2 E5 blue pop LED bulbs. I am in the process of getting a 96 x 24x 24 tank built and will be going with 2 - 48in ATI 8x54w dimmable fixtures. I personally would much rather have the option for dimmable and have 1 power cord per fixture than 2 power cords per 1 sunpower fixture.
