I’m currently upgrading my 10g nano reef tank to a waterbox 25 peninsula. My plan is to try and remove all the corals from the rock work so I can re-aquascape the current rock for the peninsula tank. Any thoughts or things I should look out for when I’m transitioning to a new tank? More worried about messing around with the rockwork trying to get it right and hurting the beneficial bacteria. Thanks!

A spare (heated) container of saltwater is helpful to keep the rock in while working on it to remove corals, pests, etc. As you have an existing tank, if you have the new tank setup and running (doesn't need to be cycled) you can generally just move everything across to insta-cycle it.

I got a few nuisance palys that I want to get to rid of? What’s the best way to get rid of them? (no boiling lol) or should I just chuck that rock and call it a loss?

Angelfish, lol. You could ditch the rock, yeah (not sure how big it is).

There like 5-6 polyps, worth it to try to pick them off? I’ve tried multiple times before but they keep coming back
To get rid of some pulsing xenia I just pulled the rocks out of the water for a few days. Not sure if that would work with zoas, but could could always let them bake in the sun outside for a weekend.
