Upgrading small tank to a 30g tank help.

Hello everyone!

I am currently setting up a bigger tank and was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to do the transition! I do not have any fish in the display tank rn but I would like some I have just been waiting for the new set up! I currently have quite a few corals, snails, and peppermint shrimp. The new tank has new sand and macro rock but I would like to transfer the old rock to the new tank as well.

My question is: Is it best to get some fish first before I move the coral with the light or move the corals first.

Start with new sand such as aragalive and use a cup or two of old sand and 30% of your water plus any live rock and allow to cycle at least 2 weeks before considering transfer monitoring the water of course
