Currently I am running with a 60 gallon. I have an opportunity to upgrade to a 180 for a decent price. Trying to decide if it's worth it to upgrade. I have decent tank husbandry. Could be better, but not bad by any means. Current tank is not drilled. New tank would be. If new tank works out, would like to have a sump/fuge in basement and plump up into new tank, as I currently do not have any sort of sump/fuge. Also have about 40# of extra rock. Just trying to figure out what all else I'd need t upgrade/buy new if I upgraded to a 180.

Thoughts, opinions, suggestions, comments? Thanks!!

Current details:
-60 gallon NOT drilled (4x2x1) No sump/fuge
-2 165w led units (I do have a third one I could add to the tank if upgrading. Would I need a third light? New tank dimensions would be 6x2x2)
-2 powerheads (I don't remember the brand, but there are like a 1200 model...Marinland maybe?)
-Mediocre Protein skimmer rated for 100gallon
-Heater

Livestock:
-Yellow tang
-Lawnmower blenny
-Tomato clown
-Red anthias x2
-Misc clean up crew
-Asst frags (softies, lps, and sps)
-Osc Clownfish x2 (currently in a different tank that I had for my carpet nem, but he died.. so would possible move to new tank)

Based off your 60g foot print you really only gain two feet. The only thing I don't like about stand 180s is the 2ft tall. I like around 18". The 6ft part is nice though. Realy it's a personal call if you want to make the move to bigger or not.
Sounds like you will need another light, bigger skimmer, and more flow. Don't forget bigger heaters and return pump.
