i will be upgrading my reef tank from a 54 gallon to 75 gallon reef tank ... I will be using all my old live rock and tank water and just add some new water that is missing... will not use sand and will not use old sump ....
Will I have to cycle the tank ?
I want a more stable sand as well something that won’t fly off that easily any ideas on what sand can I use ?
And also will everything be fine ? Any ideas or tips will help and be appreciated...
thank you in advance :)

You’ll want to cure the new rock first and look into special grade reef sand

Sorry I did not spicier my self I have over 60 pounds of live rock in my system that I am using rigth now so ima use that

If your not adding any new rock and getting new sand. You could transfer everything on the same day

Nice !!
Any sand u recommend that won’t blow around with my power heads I’ll be moving everything in ah week...
Also I want to paint the stands of the new tank white any speacial paint I need ? To do that ?
Also want to paint the back of the aquarium black what kind of paint do I need

Everything should. E fine. The new sand may spark a new diatom bloom but no big deal.

I paint d the back of my tank with Lowe’s black spray paint. Just use good cleaner or acetone first before painting for good adhesion,

So I can use any black paint I usually buy them in Home Depot
And I have this ligth bundle from current USA that I haven’t used would they be enough for lps and soft coral growth or should I aleast upgrade my Lighting for the 75 gallon
