Currently have a 55 gallon sumpless. Lps and softies.

Fish are
Pair of false perc clowns
Royal gramma
6 line wrasse

New tank is going to be 75 gallons with 30 gallon sump so 105 gallons total volume

All the fish and coral will be transferred

I have a lot more room to grow withthe new setup.

Any suggestions?

I am in the same sinking boat. Been wanting to upgrade for a year now but now I have to move so it’s going to happen soon! Here is my 55. I have a stock list somewhere on here I’ll find it and repost

Sixline will make it difficult to add other wrasses.

Longnosed or flame hawk would be a good addition.
Starry blenny.
One of the smaller dwarf angels, if you are willing to risk it.

I recommend removing the sixline as well. I've had to remove sixlines more than any other fish due to aggression.

I second flame and longnose hawks. A blenny from the genus Meiacanthus, purple tilefish, marine betta are a few other suggestions.

My six line removed him self:(. MIA. Had a nice angle also MIA. I think my huge anemone may have gotten them. Witch is odd because if I try to feed it it won’t take any shrimp.

I think I've made up my mind on what direction to go for activity without going wild.
Keep everything the same, but add the following.

Foxface
flame angel
3 blue/green chromis

Simple, and available.

What is a false percula clown? Correct me if im wrong but the false clown is the amphiprion ocellaris while amphiprion percula is the true clownfish.

Im asking because i had a conversation about that at my lfs yesterday.

I probably wouldn't put a foxface in a 75...just my opinion. They get large, and they have venomous spines they use when cornered/cramped.

Some folks call ocellaris clowns false percs. False perc = occ.

That sucks. I really wanted one of them. I wanted one big fish to draw attention in.

It's not that you can't. I just think it's borderline and wouldn't personally do it.

If you go for it, get the one spot (S. unimaculatus), since it's a little smaller between the two "foxfaces." A yellow tang would be a similar option, but also borderline, imo. The tangs in the bristletooth (Ctenochaetus) genus, would be even better.

I was going to do the spot one.

With that in mind, and with my plan above, would I be bordering on overstocked or under, or just right?

Congrats on the upsize of tanks. It amazing what a difference can be seen between the two.

You are correct on the clownfish as you well know. Did you and the LFS discuss the physical traits of both?

No it was kindoff a secondary talk. Something in the lines of me saying “i have a percula” and shes like yes but doesnt matter they are all ocelaris...

I didnt talk back and thought about it afterwards. Since we were talkin about different color variations (if i could pair a platinum and a picasso) she mustve thought “percula” is a designer name snd all clownfish are occelaris clowns.

She did know about clowns being damsels tough so maybe she simply made a mistake but yea. I actually dont know the physical difference, what is it?

I have to agree about the Fox face. Even though I’ve had 2 and lost them both. R.i.p. I always found myself worried about where he was when I was doing maintenance and my fox faces were always shooting around the tank and hiding lol. I’ve herd the sting is alittle worse than a bee sting. No thanks lol.

My show stopper is my yellow tank. He will literally swim on my hand, let me pet him, eats out of my hand. Lol the clowns will also hand feed
