Hi, I am fairly new to this fab hobby. I have started with a small 94 litre tank - it has 2 clown fish, a cleaner shrimp, 2 hermit crabs and a couple of snails in. Water parameters are good. I have upgraded to a 190 litre tank - water has cycled for 4 weeks with 15kg of live rock and the snails that came in the rock. Skimmer has been off. Water parameters today are good. Any tips for transferring rock and fish etc from one the other please. Was told to replace each tank with 5 litres water from one to the other to acclimatise fish etc. Planning to move rock also.

Thank you

If the new tank is cycled and up to the same parameters as your other, then just transfer everything. Rinse the sand out really well before using it though, as that will really mess up the new tank.
