Upgrading to 125g

Okay guys I have a 55g up and running I am going to be upgrading that to a 125g this weekend I will start working on that any advice out there I’ve always wanted a bigger tank and the girlfriend suggested it to me so I said why not do it now! Probably the best thing I’ve ever heard her say lol. Is going to be easier to keep stable paremeters never had bigger than a 55. Have everything purchased already for it just wanted to hear what you guys have to say.

Go for it! But also consider you will most likely need bigger lights, a bigger return pump, a bigger or more power heads depending on the length. I want to upgrade from my 75 gallon tank to a 125 but it is all the extras that add up.

Luckily my return pump and powerhead are all vortech I bought big And just turned down on 55 knowing I would upgrade eventually I have two mp40 currently the only thing I think I need to upgrade is my lights since I only have 3 ai prime hd currently but I’m excited to see this bad boy up it’s going to be a lot bigger I believe

Now that is a good upgrade
You can now start thinking about a bigger sump.
Perhaps a calcium reactor for the future.
