In my 225:
6x clowns
8x Chromis
4x Tangs (Yellow, regal, sailfin, achilles)
3x Wrasse: Melanus, Pinkface, Red head
5x Anthias (lyretail and ignitus)
1x Two spot Goby
1x Foxface
2x Cardinals
The achilles rules the tank. The pinkface does not run from him like the rest and just ignores him. The achilles guards nori and tries to run the regal and sailfin off so i hang strips on opposite ends of the tank. The two types of anthias school together although. The melanus is agressive towards the pink face and the pink face is oblivious. The two spot and red head hide all the time. The clowns nest is a gsp. The cardinals stay out all night and never sleep, the regal is the biggest eater, anthias don't like prepared food, the fox face doesn't care for frozen food, and the all follow me from side to side when i walk past the tank and will school with my hand and nip at me as long as i don't put my hand in past my wrist.
I used to have a bluethroat, it killed new fish, took they eyes from a kole then went carpet surfing on Thanksgiving day...good riddance.
Years ago I had a marine beta in a 65 that ate every fish it would fit in its mouth.
I would not put a Powder in with an Achilles unless i had an 8ft 400g tank. You need to do your best to select tangs that can form a hierarchy or pecking order. In my case Achilles->Regal->Yellow->Sailfin. Ideally in my tank, I am 1 overstocked as a good rule of thumb for me has been no more than 1 tang or wrasse per 2ft of tank.
I may never mix triggers and tangs again....it did not go well for me because tangs can challenge triggers and when a trigger finally snaps fish die.
If you only see aggression at feeding time you can achieve success by feeding heavy, feeding often and feed in multiple areas of the tank all at once.
Tangs however, will usually learn to co-exist if you are lucky.
If you do add 2x more tangs, add them at the same time if possible. Otherwise naso fist and powderblue last.
