So currently I run 3/4” pvc from a 1” drilled bulkhead in my tank. Then the return line is the same. I’m running the Ecotech S2 and it’s set near it’s lowest because it completely out pushes what comes into the sump. Just curious on ways to increase the amount coming into the sump so I can up the S2 output. Would increasing to 1” pvc do much for me? I could plumb both bulkheads and inlets and then plumb a return line but that would go over the back of the tank and I’d rather not do that. Looking for suggestions.

Increasing to 1" would be a first step. If I remember correctly the flow rate through 1" is 40-45% more than 3/4"

Whether or not more flow through your sump is beneficial is another question though.

Well I don’t feel like I have as much turnover as I should going through it since it’s kind of more than a trickle on the return. I have MP10s for flow so that parts not an issue just the flow through filtration

What size is the tank? I usually aim for something like 5-7x of the display through my sumps but that's just a ballpark. Usually I try to run it pretty close to the skimmers flow rate, but that's just me.
