Urchin dead?

Unfortunately yes. Once they start dropping their spines it's incredibly hard to recover after that. It's looks like yours is already beyond that point. The shell makes for a nice decoration though. If you want to keep it I would recommend you rinse it out real good and let it air dry then you can either put it back in or use it for decoration around your house. Just be careful with it, they are very delicate.

Ok thx , I noticed it had lost its spines and I think it died because of the phosphate spike .
