Hey all:

First time I've had a large fuge in my tank and I'm wondering if this is normal. I had an urchin in the DT that kept knocking things over. I was having some hair algae growing on the walls of the fuge, so I figured he'd like it there. Everytime I look though, he's all tangled up in the Macro algae (chaeto, ogo, etc). I don't mind if he eats some, but I want to make sure he won't be negatively impacted because I like the little guy.

Thoughts?

Any other good choices for in fuge glass cleaners?

Urchins often carry around shells, shell fragments, even coral frags. Generally this behavior is considered a sign of good health. I wouldn't worry about him; just being an urchin.

Oh yes! I know that part, but he's literally floating around inside a ball of macro....Just wondering.
Thanks!
