Urchin owners

[Back where it all began]

Hi,
I have two urchins in my tank. I've had them for about 8 months or so.
One is a purple short spine. It has always behaved in a "normal" fashion up until the last week.
It always collects various things to carry around, but lately it has been mostly buried in the sand at one of the back corners.
Should I try to move it or just let it be?
I'm not sure what it is doing.

hi,does it move out at all ,even at night?? if not i would move see if ok 1,2nd to see if goes back to same spot

Has anything changed in your tank recently, Parameters, stocking or even what you been feeding?

H, the only thing I’ve added is a 2 inch filefish to eat a few aiptasia I’ve have. That worked well. Otherwise the only change I’ve had is that 3/4 of one of my torches disappeared one night this last weekend, the tentacles gone right down to the skeleton and nowhere to be seen. Other reefers thought it might be the filefish.

It’s alive as I just moved it a tad and it went back to where it was.
