Has he picked up a xenia on the last photo?

We've got a pair of tuxedos. They do incredible work keeping the tank clean but occasionally they like to go for gorgonian rides.

They also do good work keeping the glass clean.

What do you mean gorgonian rides?
Have the tables turned and the corals are rebeling lol

I love the fact that urchins pick up bubble algea and start becoming one of the root causes of it after it pops on their heads
I had a bubble algae problem long before the urchin. This urchin has cleaned up more of it than my 3 emerald crabs.

I didnt know they ate it (ive not had one before) the LFS only told me they pick them up and eventually pop them.
If mine gets a taste for it this could become a good show
Rabbitfish vs the spiky shell eating contest

This is Barlow my pincushion urchin ive had him about a year and hes named after the vampire in salems lot. Ive trained him to come to the top of the water when he is hungry and then i give him nori. Hes actually got a lot of personality and usually picks up shells i put in the tank from the beach. “Also about the size of a baseball.”
