Recently my anemone tried to eat a snail and suffered an injury. Half of the anemone is black and dead. Is there a way to save the other half?

The best way I will do to save an anemone in this situation is to frag it in half!!
In other words cut it in half!

That's what I ended up doing. He is looking pretty weak right now, but has attached to a rock. I am hoping he pulls through

It matters on what type of anemone it was. Cutting certain anemone's is certain death(such as S. Haddoni and S.Gigantea). Good luck.

Cutting an anemone is like fragging a coral so if ur just gonna said bad things don't reply to this thread!!!!

I've had good luck placing injured nems in an acclimation box up near the top of the tank, close to the light. Keep the flow gentle.
