Urgent Help Needed in the next 3 hrs re new fish!!!

Help! My dad has just done a lovely thing for me - he saw someone clearing out their marine tank and giving way the inhabitants free to good home so he requested and his request was accepted. I have a 2ft cube with live rock, 2 ocellaris clowns, a Duncan, some zoas, and 2 other types of coral I'm still learning the names of. My dilemma is whether the fi will go well with my current inhabitants. I don't want bloodshed or coral munchers.

I have bee told there is live rock, a very large pink leather coral (can this be divided?), a blue tang, a trigger fish, a Clarke's clownfish (I'm assuming I should not mix this with my 2), and some chromis.

Which should I keep and which should I move on or make a nano with? I need to find out pretty urgently as I will need to set up a spare tank beforehand to be able to put them in when I pick them up this afternoon.

None of those should go in a two foot tank with your fish honestly....too small...pink leather can but not fish

I'm no expert I wouldn't risk it I'd get another tank. I hear anything can be fragged. Not sure on what size tank you will need but it sounds like you may need a big tank. Hopefully people will chime in. Good luck. You can also see if anyone is in your area and can help foster the fish till you are set up.

My Husband is going to kill me! I'm supposed to be cutting down on fish/tanks.

Only thing I can think of is to strip my 5ft freshwater angelfish tank and set that up but I can't see doing that in 3 hrs....

Also, depending on the size and type of trigger it could go in a reef tank...just not a 2ft tank....unless its still a juvi...so for a few weeks it would be okay...until you get the larger tank ready?

A 2 ft cube is 60 gallons. Definitely can't take the clarkis into the same tank with your other clowns, the trigger is probably not a good idea just because they tend to eat some corals (depending on what kind of trigger...my picasso trigger ate every zoa I tried to put with him), the blue tang MIGHT be alright for a SHORT TIME if (and only if) you are going to move her soon to a 6 foot tank soon (this is the opinion of most reefers...some will disagree).

However, the chromis should be fine in there. You could take them with no problems since their minimum tank size is 30 gallons.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I will keep the chromis and the leather coral, and maybe set the clown up in a nano tank but I think I will rehome the others. I don't want to set up a large tank a month before going on holidays and I would have no where to put my breeding stock angels.

Try to set up a temporary tanks and move them on to other people who may be able to take them permanently. Even if the tank is smaller than they should have as a permanent home, it is better than them getting brought back to a LFS. None of what is there except for the coral would be a good idea to put into your tank.. Good luck

We'll, have just picked them up. The fish are huge, even the clown is bigger than my clowns and I don't think he'd be happy in in a nano tank. I was given heaps of live rock buy it has some anemones on it that the guy said were the bad type that would sing the fish and I could just kill them off with lemon juice.
