URGENT HELP PLEASE

Hey guys, the fish have ended 2 weeks of qt with a copper based treatment... lost some of my buddies but it could have been worse... now I'm not sure if I'm paranoid or if there is something on my cow so I figured I'd ask the masses... copper has been a steady 0.5

Two weeks is not long enough. It needs to be at least one month. You really need to make sure that the copper levels do not dip below .05. It does look like it's back..

You really need to make sure the copper levels are at .5 for a full 30 days. Two weeks will allow for the ich to come back since it's protected from copper while in the cyst (or tomont) stage. If it breaks out of the cyst after 2 weeks (there are strains that stay in the cyst stage for 72 days) then it won't be killed by the copper and can then continue with the life cycle.

Still continuing the copper treatment... I did however change tanks. I had way too many fish in a small 10gal Hospital tank, so I changed them into a 30gal to give them some more room.

The 30 day clock starts over since the copper treatment was interrupted. It's great to get them in a little bigger tank for this :)

Definately, keeping the corals fish free in a frag tank for 3 months anyways so I'm gonna do 30 days of treatment and then hyposalinity for the remainder of the 2 months

Looking at the first pic i'm about 90% positive you had velvet.

I didn't read the whole thread, but looks like he's doing much better with copper tx. Good call.
