URGENT! Looking for advice on red sponges!

I’m at the fish store and see these beautiful sponges. I know they need to be fed phytoplankton constantly or they will slowly starve. If it dies will it nuke a tank? Is it a bad idea? Thoughts?

It's funny I see those on docks and the seawall in the bay over here near Tampa, I don't know anything about them but I'm almost 100% sure they are the same, so with that I assume they like DIRTY water, our bay water is green you can't see more than 12" in most spots.

Yes they do come from Florida a lot of time! They never stop growing either lol.
