Hi Guys,

My Diamond Goby has red sore signs on the mouth area as you can see in the picture. Could it be Uronema?

Are the rocks in your tank actually, completely sitting on the glass bottom of the tank? Or are they resting on the sand? Could be that one of the rocks slipped down as the goby was digging and gave it a bad bruise, if the rocks are capable of moving. I lost a fish that way once.

It’s a cave shaped rock, I was thinking the same too I’ll monitor for a few days and see

Just in case, do you have any wide spectrum antibiotics on hand like Kanaplex, Furan2, NFG, Sulfaplex?

I do have melafix, herbatana and protomor.
I already dosed melafix in this morning, will monitor how it goes.
I'm just worried it might be uronema, although i had not lose any fish to it yet.

Since I lost that one fish to a rock moving, I always put one of those silicone kitchen pads on the glass bottom of the tank, under each rock bottom, and rest the rock directly on the silicone pad or pads for very large rockscapes. ;)
