my new mocha clown(male) hasn't eatn in 7 days. Was in a harum so I QT'd him for 3 days and introduced and all went well. Now he won't eat at all and is gettn lethargic. I feed everything. Flake mysis brine pellet shrimp spreads for my nems and nothing. He does suck on sebea and is a 100% healthy sebea. Is the zooanxialia algae enough as a supplement. I don't wanna lose him

I feel the breeder didn't ween em off live brine and am extremely angry some1 would destin a harum 2 die as the store says only 1 is eatn out of what's left. And yes I make my own garlic and does nothing

Sorry to hear this, as I have no idea about clowns but maybe the [HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG] will have a answer.

Any rapid breathing or strange white spots on the clownfish?

When I got my clowns when they were babies, they would only eat pellets, and only the tiniest ones. I fed them the pellets one at a time. Took me a couple months to get them to eat frozen.

What i would do, is get some good frozen food, including black worms and add kent garlic extreme, and selcon to help. The garlic entices them to eat, the selcon helps get the nutrition to them.

I feed coral frenzy fillets soak in garlic nothing tried Frozen misis and brine brine 90% of time and pellet 10 and once mysis. He was a lot more social and the past 2 days been head into current using least energy so my question now is should I QT in tomorrow incase if he has anything parasitic should I use copper or this herbal stuff. I'd rather try then let him die. As I see him decreasing more. And no no spots(yet) I see ich coming from stress

Buy some brine shrimp and see if they eat those. If they do id ween them off of live to frozen
Feed brine, then slowly introduce frozen until you start to see them eat the frozen. Then slowly take out the brine shrimp

I personally would remove him from the DT, perform either an acriflavine or formalin bath, and then place into a sterile QT. The chemical bath will remove any "surface parasites" such as brook, a disease clownfish are very susceptible too. How long have you had this clownfish BTW?

Well at 1:05 my unknown problemd male passed in QT. he was in bad shape with no signs of ick bronc or anything. His carcass I inspected with a white light and magnifier and no skin problems. I treated with low dose of copper and lower sal conditions b4 I dosed the copper for him 2 adjust. I've never done what dip 1 said but 2 of my lfs and the 1 I really wanted was there for 30 yrs and u can tell with his collection of crazy corals but said copper him aswell but 13 hrs of treatment and he passed I feel from not eating. . The sort time I had I liked him on day 2. Oh the roller coaster of this addiction. What should I do 2 DT. I'm goin 2 treat with the herbal ick stuff as its corals safe is is basically camphor oil but idk if it helped b4 but never got ick from my last male that passed a yr ago. Hurt me a lot
