Hi All, I need help. My favorite torch coral is dying. Yesterday it was looking fine and today it has quickly showing that it is dying. I know my torches will recede from time to time. This is that. It has a brown algae looking growth on it's skeleton. To give you some background. Two weeks ago my frogspawn starting losing it's heads. I thought it was due to it's close location to a hammer, but I have moved the frogspawn an it has continued to lose it's heads. I was doing the Triton method and there must have been something off in my water that I couldn't test for to cause it. Two days ago I did a 40% water change. The day after the change everything was looking much better. Acans and Tracys where plump again. They were all looking deflated. Now my torch is dying. Does anyone have any thoughts what could be causing it? I have had this torch for about a 8 months so I'm certain flow and light is not the issue. Should I take it out to dip it?

Here is my thread to the frogspawn issue.

I would do a Lugols dip on it.

Yikes, could be the start of brown jelly disease, and thing growing on it?
