Hey friends I actually have a real reason for not being on and active well that’s excusable. Well not really but I guess it could be. I actually sent a gift to a friend and she lives in the uk. Well when I had the FedEx people ship the items (they look at the items before shipping (which makes it worse)), they accidentally put my phone in the box to be shipped. So I don’t get a lot of texts or calls or on it much. So didn’t think about it at all. About 2 days went by and it hit me lol. I could not find it anywhere and I have a phone location device. Which I activated and it was in California. So I was trying to call my phone carrier and when we checked again lol it was in Seattle. Literally like a day later. Then once it popped up to jfk it dawned me that I shipped my phone to my friend in the uk. So not so bad right, well I can’t call her my phones is in her package :/ plus umm don’t know the number off the top of my head. Luckily we still email so I emailed her and I have my phone back 2 days ago lol. So moral of the story is, don’t ship your phone international it takes forever. (The phone did eventually die but it was fun tracking it on the location device up till it died). I was wow that person moved fast.

This could only happen to you! I am glad that it was something humorous for a change. You are one of the few people I know that could be without theIr phone and not really miss it. Glad to have you back!

I lol did get two new corals and well they seem to be doing okay. One is an sps the other I’m not sure I will have to take pics of them. I’m having the hardest time with green slimer and that’s a super easy one. Garf bonsai is doing great and others but still th same some sps do great with lps and softies, but others do horrible.

I have had so many different answers so let’s see. How long or good is pro salt water? I bought like 60 gallons from the lfs but have been so busy I have not been to do a water change, which I normally don’t anyway. But was gonna see if that made things better since all parameters are right on. The problem is it’s been in my home in the bottled jugs maybe for 2 months heck possibly 3. I know can shake it up and it will remix but does it actually go bad?

It will be fine. The worst that old probiotic salt water can do imo is add ammonia, but that isn’t a problem in an established tank like yours

Yes dear friends I’m still here and sorry I just had to take a Haitus from everything. Still have my tank all though it’s being a brat. So that’s been a struggle. I found my self to quiet and lonely so I went back to my high school and college hobby of pottery, so been doing that for a few months. I also kinda gave up, I had to reset my phone and I couldn’t remember my password or log in. which I had written down. Still said not a valid user (I think or couldn’t find user), but after I finally had time to back date my phone it auto logged me in. Of course my login and password were correct just no idea what I did wrong.

let’s see, other than I feel like I’m stuffed inside an exhaust pipe (from all the smoke from Oregon), things have been okay. Still hard but getting better. Some said I was far to reclusive and shy so sorta forced me to start being one with people again. (This was them signing me up for a pottery class lol, which is neat except they want me to teach and that’s not going to happen, I’ll try to play dumb)( I’m not good at that game either). But lol I figured for some of my friends here I can make them whatever kind of pot they want from throwing and it would be a fun Xmas gift etc. here some of the very first ones I did (I have always owned a potters wheel). But gosh it’s been quiet some time (years and years since I have thrown), but surprising I still knew it well. (FYI lol to get back at my dad lol I sign everything darth Vader . Friends here I’ll sign my normal name. But all the ones parents have asked lol darth Vader it is. Here are some examples

Not sure about professional lol but I’m at least able to make simple things bowls and vases. I try and throw once a day where I just make things and if I like it it stays if not I cut it in half to see how consistent the walls are. I try new and bold things etc. I don’t have a kiln so also why my friends signed me up, I get to fire and glaze them as part of the class

Lol thanks I’m workin on it and of course I’m a perfectionist. Yeah some things just went on hiatus and I didn’t even want them to, it just happened. Found out not only from medical school that depression was hadd on people but first hand knowledge. Verdict is up in the air yet if meds help but I feel like a lab rat. Welcome back! Glad you figured out how to log back in! That is some very impressive work, you need to get a kiln so you can make lots of pieces. And, if you can figure out how to invent a clear clay, you can make pottery aquariums!!!
