Holly Hanna the banana, lol I could sleep in that, it’s not a sump tank, it’s a live coffin from a funeral home. They port oxygen in there and then bury you. You get to see how wonderful their dirt is. Lol good grief that thing is huge. I am just wondering, what size tank would that go to? I will definitely contact them, just not sure how. I don’t have Facebook etc, so not sure if they have a phone etc. I do have email, so I can do it that way. But when I tried to go to the account it required me to make one. FB is highly frowned upon at my work, to many people post things they shouldn’t. But I’ll be excited to see what they can do for me, thanks so much @Fin .

I can see where having a Facebook page wouldn't be such a great thing for a doctor to have; although, I do have an old friend that is a cardiologist that does have one in his real name. He just uses it to post special events photos of his family. He doesn't really post much on there, but it did allow me to be able to make contact with him after years of moving around before settling in practice where he is now. So, it can be useful and not just garbage.

There are other custom sump builders out there, I just suggested Elite Aquatics because I have had positive experience with them and I think they are within a few hundred miles from you, so less travel time for a plastic sump in a box. Take your time and do some research. A few others that I looked at when I was shopping were: Bashea, GeosReef, LifeReef, to name a few. Synergy Reef is also another good one, but they don't do custom builds any longer, but may have something large enough in their product line, maybe a 44" sump. I have seen their work too and it is impressive. Plus, you could build your own out of another aquarium. Decisions, decisions. Happy shopping.

So kinda of a surprise but I received my second online order of sps today from @Som1else. It was really really packaged well, actually tripled. Not only that but sent me a nice information letter on how to handle his corals. Plus each one was nicely bagged and sealed, the box was very well packaged as well. All the corals looked amazing, here is the new list of critters to be housed. There are six new ones and they are 1.) purple Stylo, 2.) bonsai 3.) shortcake 4.) yellow Acro 5.) purple stag 6.) my favorite a smurf Acro yippee. Pics will soon be to follow

So as promised here are some new pics of my new critters . All of them but one have their polyps out, but I have two of that one lol. Didn’t realize I already had one but hey better to have two than one. But if I remeber last time the strawberry shortcake was a little slow to open up to me . But after a day it couldn’t resist my sweet loving nature and opened up. We will see what this one does, just sometimes nature of the beast.

This is totally off the subject (like half my thread lol I really try to keep it in scope) but I haven’t seen any of the Star Wars movies. So I bought the whole collection but which one should I watch first?

Now back on topic I’m curious as to how long I should keep my lights on acclimation for my new corals. All of them have their polyps out, I still can’t tell on my shortcake. He definitely doesn’t look too thrilled. I’m also curious if I should turn the flow down during acclimation.

I would watch 4,5,6 first. Then watch episode 1 just so you understand Jar Jar Binks references. Toss episodes 2 and 3. Then watch 7, and 8.

@siggy lol I have no plans to take my 240 down that would drive me insane. I plan on running both tanks the 240 and 400 or more like 425. Since the 240 is doing amazing it would break my heart tearing it down and really break my heart if I lose something. If running my 400 is as easy as my 240 than I’m doing good. (Minus my nephews urinating in it ). Yes it will cost me a lot more to do both tanks, but I’d rather do that than stress and or possibly kill something which would devastate me. I’d sooooo love a bathroom down stairs just not sure if they can. All of my ground is floor is cement, then hard wood. Plus not sure where they would place it, except maybe under the stair way lol.

@Brew12 lol oh heck no you can not pee in my sump. I’m half tempted to put like 30 massive venus fly traps down there. If that doesn’t deter someone all hope is lost lol.

So the movies to make since I will go by release date, I was told it would be hard to appreciate the originals, if I watched the remakes first. My niece is saying there are 8 episodes, am I missing something or is she being a goofball.

I would recommend watch IV, V, VI and then watch Rogue One. It kind of goes with them. Then, skip I, II, III entirely. There is no benefit to watching them. They do not add to the story, have horrible acting and are terrible movies. Just awful. Then VII, VIII which are okay.

So today before I went to work, checked on all my new corals. All but one are doing simple amazing yay. The shortcake I think is on its way to recovery. It still looks a terrible color lol but all the polyps are out which is more important. I have turned the lights down more to acclimate them better. I’m thinking maybe the third marine pro was not such a grand idea lol. The corals seemed to be much happier with just two of them. The only ones that seem mad well is Mr. Shortcake color wise, and my large ultra acan on the bottom of the tank. The large micromusa seems mad also but is doing better. However, the sps are just loving the third light. I think running a max tank is so rewarding, it some days it’s hard. Some corals always seem to be happy and others always complain. Sheesh my kids are never happy all at once . They are soooo picky and demanding children, do you think they will be happy if I give them an ice cream cone? Any suggestions?

Maybe one scoop of reef roids flavor and one scoop of reef chili flavor?

So just found out the power will be out for a whole day. Used a small jump box from my Jeep to run my return pump and heater. It has now since died, only knew they sell are gas ones. Any idea what I would need?
