I hope to get more done on my build this coming week - in between medical procedures for my wife and mom. I have to get back on the plumbing. Not as easy as it was 30 years ago. Poor eyesight and bad neck and back. I need to get in gear though.

You sound like me OLD, Worn out and Broken down.. But on the good news i get more punishment . Got signed contract on a Master Bathroom in Second floor of A Giant house. Lots of Steps . Lots and Lots of Lots of More Steps .... Tear out day is Wed Next week......

The more im worn out the more work i push myself into... I so gotta get tank maintenance up to date this Weekend .

I am thrilled I get to beta test this neat little 3,000 gph thing a ma jig. It will provide a lot more flow (Im adding it to the 240 actually) because somehow I don’t seem to have enough which I’m kinda lost in. So I have four 2100 gph which is 8400 and two 3100 returns which is 6200 so that is 14,600 in a 240 minus displacement so say 200. So that’s 14600 by 200 is 73. Min ten times the flow would be 200 times ten (I think) is 2,000 (Yes I know the math is right lol not sure if it’s ten times the amount of water. Which means I’m super lost because 14,600 minus 2000 is 12,600 that’s over ten times.

Regardless lol I get to add this thing to my tank, and if I like it they will let me try them in my 425, which I’ll need way way more flow. Hmmmm oh wait but here are some pics of the new thingy.

Its hard to keep these in a Mixed tank unless you can get it to settle into a spot away from Corals or have the Ability ,room and LOTS OF PATIENCE to move corals away from it as it moves about , whims of the Anemonie... My Suggestions is to re home the Creature

I can only go so long on fruity pebbles before I start to feel as if I’m going to the Stone Age. As odd as it sounds the kix has very very low sugar. The other well not sooo much, and the donuts are well enough said donuts. But hey my goal is to hit 95 pounds lol carrots and fruit won’t get me there, and I’m 88 now. I do actually eat pretty healthy (coughs minus the cheese puffs and gummy bears), but let’s be honest the really good healthy food normally ahhh doesn’t taste very good lol. The kix has less sugar than Cheerios and the capt crunch is the same as Cheerios lol just no bran in it.

I plan on cleaning all my other wave makers toMorrow and return pumps as well. I will then add my new pump and see how well it does. @Katrina71 did you get the same one as I, did they let you beta test it as well? If you already have our yours in, lol the instructions are terrible. Them trying to explain the different modes and how to get there was ummm kinda vague. In addition the protection sleeves, is like trying to fit a four inch square peg into a 3 inch circle. Someone on the design side really failed at simple math, lol there is no way these are fittin.

Actually I was going to be a beta tester, but they didn't have my size in stock. I have a small successful tank. I ended up just ordering it 2nd hand.
