This is Furniture Grade plumbing (Basically any of the coloured plumbing you see in builds). It is designed to make furniture projects with not really for plumbing purposes but that's what every reefer uses it for

And the ocean motion is basically a motorized valve that directs water to different pipes. I'm getting the 4 Pipe version so it will direct the flow to two of the pipes at the same time and then rotate to the other two. It will run my closed loop setup

Curious is the site super slow tonight on like cell phones? I went to click like and it made me close the site then took a long time hmm. Wow that thing is 500 wow so in short it just changes the direction of water flow etc.

@NY_Caveman lol yeah she is on something for sure and it’s not for burnt toast remedies lol. There are a lot of cheaper options that are just as tasty as the stupid expensive lol. But it’s bad when you forget what day it is wake up late then panic your late, shower, then rush to work. Worried stressed and find out it’s the wrong day, and since they are short handed they asked you to stay since your there.

So this alternates the flow between the 4 outlets. This combined with a DC pump and I should get some really nice varied flow in my tank, atleast that's the plan ;Writing

Well generally with things at work I’m really good at. But we don’t use anything like iPhones etc at work. Well not true we use like chrome books to log patients etc, but it’s on a different system and (it) fixes everything.

I don’t think I’d want that in a peninsula either or a 365 tank. It’s bad enough on a normal tank, how large will it be and how close are you?

Yeah having an IT department comes in handy that's for sure lol And yes Chrome Books will have a VERY different system than an iPad. Which is good, cause I'm not fan of apple OS's.

And the tank and stand are setup, the stand needs some finishing touches but I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's a custom 125ish Gallon 60" × 30" × 17" Starphire Peninsula built by Miracles Aquariums.

It's my Nuvo 10 that's in my profile picture Everything got moved out of the Red Sea C130 and into that when we moved. It recently went through a catastrophic event when I forgot to turn the return pump back on after feeding and it was off all night long. I lost my two clowns that I've had for 3 years and almost all my coral except for my Toad Stool and a pair of Acans It was a real crushing blow and I'm still kind of reeling from it.

Mine too I thought about maybe going a touch wider to a 36" but in hindsight it's good I didn't as it wouldn't fit through the door easily and neither would the stand lol but dang that 36" would have looked sharp!

Derek at Miracles would be more than happy to make you one lol, And it would be even cheaper than mine, cause I had originally ordered a 24" wide tank then switched it after the tank had already been cut out.

Thank you! I tell you it gets me every time I look at the one pieced Euro. I really didn't want to go rimless because I couldn't stand the salt creep on my nuvo 10 but I also didn't like the look of the pieced in Euro either so I felt kind of stuck. Then I stumbled on a picture of another tank with the one pieced euro bracing and I was sold instantly. The cost wasn't even an insane amount more either so here it is

We certainly are seeing the benefits in this hobby with technology that's for sure. Which is fantastic! What I do love about my tank is the blend of laser cut glass and then the Closed loop which is rather old technology tank wise. It's a shame that most people don't consider closed loops anymore. They really can be amazing things and are SUPER easy to maintain. The only real downside, albeit a rather big one, is the holes in the tank everywhere lol but if you can install your bulkheads properly they should never leak. And this will be it for quite some time tank wise, it's the biggest one I was allowed on the main floor and I have no intention of putting one in the basement, I hate basements lol Which is why I've kind of decided to go all out on this tank with ideas and different methods.

Yes it does have the newer designed overflow (single that sits on top and (there are no more overflow boxes). But it’s not a closed loop system such as @JoshH it’s like my 240 but with better designed overflows, the top is the same and I havnt seen it yet but should here any week. Which it will sit in my third car garage for a little while lol.

Today I learned the sport I was designed never ever to do and that is the sport of golf. In a work related function they took us golfing. (Never have I golfed ever) not to mention I was the only one in jeans and a t shirt. It was my day off but instead of a meeting trying etc it was good. So not only was I aka not dressed in fancy clothes lol, but kinda made a few mistakes. One I can’t hit the ball at all so I kinda bored a co workers set old old set. Anyway I kept missing with the normal stick club driver whatever. So after like 15 misses in a row, I just picked the ball up and threw it. Was told not allowed and my response was but I’ll be here all day lol. So we get to where my ball landed way way behind others and I found like a little league metal baseball bat in her bag. So instead of throwing the ball, lol I tossed the ball and swung like no other and hit it lol. They also said that was not allowed . But I have learned how to cut grass dirt and I can hit them better w one hand like in polo instead of that special stance. But after it took me all morning to do 9 holes they asked if I would do another 9 (nope I’m good) with grass whacking today.

I will buy the couch and coffe table and tv and DVD player. I’ll bring all my looney tunes and we can sit and watch them next to our dry tanks. Seems much easier. Atm depends on how my stand turns out. If it’s large enough for me to get in there etc then maybe but if not normal glued pvc works. I can always spray paint it pink lol.
