Urgh seriously.

P.s. I did not take you for a nose ring girl! Very chic! ;) I like it!

Hello,

Lol I actually only have my ears pierced and (that hurt). But the niece and I were playing dress up etc and they now make magnetic ear rings nose rings etc. anyway it was her idea lol so I stuck it on because it was suppose to give me special powers according to her. But I have to take all jewelry off when at work etc. but it’s fun and i didn’t have to get stab by a needle lol.

The necklace i think is an onyx in the color of my birthstone. I’m not sure what it was made out of, when I took the kiddos to the fair I saw it and was hey this is neat. It’s hand made and it came with a really poor quality chain, so I changed that part out. But usually when I wear it my niece thinks I’m a sister to Moana lol so hence the purple nose stud attachment lol. But it does add some sparkle since i generally don’t do much. :)

Yes the spot is super comfy and in the back yard and sadly my green bushes that hide the hideous fence is the end lol. They didn’t give us much room for a back yard, which makes houses way to close together.

Hello,

Yes lol I do play because my niece and nephews drag me with them and it’s fun with them. However ask @Bronc i use to play daily with the kiddos and no it’s once a week or once a month been way to busy even for that.

You’ll have to try out the new Harry Potter: Wizards Unite game.
My friend code is 9056 5450 6453

It’s very similar to POGO

Hello;

As promised I finally found my emailed pics of the center overflow with the hole in the very center of the tank. I asked for more but havnt seen them yet. They said mine is boxed but these are what mine look like but larger.

Niceee. I’ve seen those before, they are awesome if you can camouflage them well!

Hello,

That’s where lol stax rocks come in handy :) but I don’t see how I’m suppose to fit all pipes and cables down those holes, not to mention if one breaks. They went with two of them because of the size and they are I think 7 -8 inches in diameter. But I may have to build something creative out of stax rocks and depending on how cords and stuff go; maybe I can make it 365 or if not build some neat arch ways and places to place acros up high

So how did your day of working in the tank go? I hope you got your pumps up and running again.

That’s some interesting overflows in your new tank. I am like you and kinda wondering how you are going to get pipes and wires down that piece of pipe - with the drain, I am assuming??? Maybe I am not seeing something right. You are smarter than me, so you will figure it out. :-)

Hello,

So I love current usa I do but after today I’m about to pull my hair out. Hooking this large of a system up into the Bluetooth system was like trying to walk up to a hungry tiger (while bleeding and slapping it). Yes it has cool features and I don’t see that’s it more simple than the standard remote. It is definitely more wires, and honestly that was the confusing part. If one were to do the basic system, 2 wave makers the normal lights it’s built for, (which thankfully mine are not compatible lol). But running two return pumps, and six wave makers when it’s designed for two makes it rough. Yes you can daisy link them but I was alresdy doing that and lol added the Bluetooth system. Plus the temp probe is nice except no idea where to see my current temp. Let’s me set the temp like on an apex but why the heaters don’t plug into it.

The other feature is if I loose my phone or whatever, I can’t just simply use the remote to turn things off. It’s nice to see the return pumps and wave makers percentage of power, but the sound effects during a storm are nice. But why put music on normal sunny days? I just want to listen to the ocean not elevator music with it lol. So the only ones that don’t have music are storms. Plus it gives me a volume switch lol but doesn’t work on the Bluetooth. So hmmmm May unplug it but it’s neat on some things but again wiring nightmare and I have already use to setting this up. Again if it’s a basic system it’s super easy, large like mine, it’s like trying to make a chicken run in a straight line.

Lol, sounds eventful :)

I am not a fan of storm effects, but music - as much as I love music - would be over the top for me. I vote to yank all that crap out and get it down to a manageable, simple set up.

Hello,

It made my cords messy lol well they look like someone dumped pancake syrup in my hair and took an egg beater.
Yeah I like super simple also, but they think this is why 3 went out. Which makes no sense because you still have to daisey link them all. Depending on how hard the last two are I’ll go back where I have control over each wave maker and any setup I want. May have to Velcro all of the power supplies to the back of my tank I have like 20 plus power supplies.

I was not. Then, I saw @SPR1968 ’s fish are always spawning during the lightning storms. At least twice I know it happened for him. It’s electric!

The Trigger fish try to spawn about every 3-4 months, and yes it is ‘electric’! Lol

I quiet like the effects, certainly from high Hydra 26’s, it’s very atmospheric. The tank slowly goes blue, the clouds roll in with a few random flashes of lighting,..... combine this with litres of my home made red wine (grapes)...... I pass out most nights watching it! Lol

Hello,

Sorry it’s been a few days weeks months (wait what month or day are we in? But the water change seemed to really help polyp extension on all corals and tank is nice and clean. Maybe in my own experience that probably good idea to do some form of water change every two weeks or monthly. But I noticed some other corals responded really well. Will have to test water today and see where levels are and I’m using about 1 alk a day again which is good.

Had to work Friday night to Saturday night but was gonna catch up on sleep. Instead opted to watch the kiddos, and since when does a 6 year old say I can do my own hair and fashion? Makes me laugh because I know I did the same thing but how can one say no to that :)

I will be able to get updated photos of my 240 today as well, and I’m getting use to the new setup. Just not found of wires every where. Working on those slowly and have to get the new uv steralizer in place. They will redeliver it on Monday since I’ll be home finally.

I’d be curious what your ICP test results would be. If your dosing traces and have good nutrient export there may not be any need for water changes. But if it makes you happy I get that :)

Hello,

You and I both would be curious to see an icp test. I normally did water changes but my nutrient export was off somehow. Even doing 60 gallon water changes wouldn’t drop my nitrates. Both of them are super low, and I still get some gha but it’s having a hard time taking hold. Which is nice because it means the water has nutrients. But I was dosing trace elements also, however, there isn’t really great tests for trace elements. I honestly have no idea how to go about doing an Icp test. I definitely like when the tank does well, can’t say I’m fond of water changes and or dosing but hey it’s nature of the hobby.

I see. Oh it’s super easy. Just order the triton test on marinedepot or bulkreefsupply, they mail you the vial, fill the vial with tank water, it has a prefilled address on the vial, put the vial in the mailbox, check the results online in a few days :)

I will have to do that it would be neat to see where I’m
High and low on my water. Just wasn’t sure since I don’t do the triton method if it would even work.

Yep it works all the same. If something is low they will give you directions on how to raise it, usually with their products, but to get a good glimpse of what’s going on in your tank you only need to get the water sample done. I don’t use the triton method fwiw.

Triton is the most accurate, that’s why I use them over the other “cheaper” ICP testing options.

Hello,

It’s been busy and I have not been able to update as much but trying to, plus I miss my dear friends on here. I’m still stumped on why my blue and green hammer isn’t happy. But my frogspawn that’s 8 inches away same level, is super happy. It kinda gets happy then, goes upset and it’s hard to figure out. I am starting to do water changes again, and reducing the nopox as I want my nitrates up just a tad maybe to 5. I still have some green hair algae and been brushing it off. Need more cuc and maybe add something to drop phosphates even more. The nopox drops it but also the nitrates. I don’t wanna starve them and I learned that spot feeding the hammer is a bad idea so I just kinda spray above it.

But I had fun with my niece and nephew and take a look at these French fries that they serve at a Lego store it’s amazing.

Nice! You're a good Auntie!

BTW - another reefing friend of mine, @mch1984 , just finished the Hogwarts Castle...
