Hey Erica! The site upgrade is pretty good. You my have seen there were more vendors at the beginning of the home page. That was just temporary. Anyway, how ya been? Good to see you peeking in. Did you finish the pond project? How's your tank? We have so many questions.
Yes the pond is Finished. Well its up and running and have like 12 gold fish and some plants started. The Aquariums are good. as well. But have not been doing much to them other then maintenance .
As far as the site do not get me wrong i am not complaining , Its a Private site and they have the right to do as they wish. every forum thread has a add every 4 post. There is a column to the left at the right of the forums with ads . The giant banner at the top, Bottom and between each section . I know they Want to make money. But even thou they are not so user friendly I find myself going back to other Aquarium Forums because I paid for a membership on here to NOT See the ads (well its what i thought i was getting) Quite a disappointment Not to mention the WHOLE Push notification thing. Anyway . I know this is not the place to comment about this nor do i have a right to.
Back to the pond .. We have about 20 or so Lily pads . a few other plants i forget the name of , Around the pond we have planted some flowering shrubs and Plants as well. I think for now we are just going to let it be to mature more the rest of the summer and when we open it back in the spring work on getting it more Naturally balanced. As of now i am having to use API Algae control . But the more the plants we will slowly phase that out. We also ended up with a whopping 14 Tons of Creek Rock.. The pond dimensions are 24 feet long by 14 feet at its widest point the deep end which is the largest area just shy of 5 feet deep. There are two upper plant ledges each about 14 inches under the water going 3/4 way around the pond. One area of the ledge is about 18 inch wide narrowing next to the water fall/ creek thing. The other side ranges from to 14 inches wide. The water feature is a small stream that is raised about 3 feet and curves as it drops down into the pond . Its stair stepped to create more oxygenation as well as a few places for the birds , Squirrels and other animals to enjoy the Pond .We have lots of Frogs who have decided to take up residence as well.

The Aquarium is growing out nicely being left alone . All the fish are happy fat and growing . Thou it appears i have a small cyano outbreak . But that comes and goes. I think its because we have been keeping the Picture window open more as of lately . Even thou the tank is 16 feet from the window it faces it directly. and this time of the year the sun shines right into the window .
I have been so Busy at work its also unbelievable.I have more then 4 times completed and paid project hours/contracts then i did all of last year. I have added a few Full time Employees and now keeping a few Sub contractor crews busy . Electrical, Plumbing and Drywall / Painting people. We are also booked thru the end of the year with signed contracts. I am VERY Close to not doing any work myself which is my GOAL... Just run the projects . Our Quality and Reliable Reputation is Growing Faster then my Ability to Get the Work Done...
