Lol see my dumb aka smart phone doesn’t let me do that. I was trying to get the full dress in also and it just wouldn’t have it lol. Yeah I’m getting good at having my head chopped off today even. I allowed my niece and nephews to decorate my new house for Halloween. Well ahhh it kinda went bad in a funny way. We went to Walmart and they bought like five bags of those fake fuzzy black spiders. Well the put them in box (and Easton is in advanced robotics). So he used this box and they attached it to the over hang section above the front door. So they were trying to test it on me because I went for a walk. (These are my older brothers kiddos that are 13 and 15, and why they would think I would ring my own doorbell (it’s called a house key, teenagers). But he made it so when someone rings the doorbell he uses a switch and the box opens (it’s motorized) and they filled it with all of the black spiders. Well I errr wasn’t the only person out for a walk apparently. So since my garage is still full of stuff I need to set up as a bonfire lol I parked in front of the house. Well I parked a little to close to the end (like imagine a cross walk you have to park x amount of feet from it). Well there isn’t an actual cross walk or any sign at all. But a sheriffs deputy just out riding around happened to see my Jeep. So instead of citing me since (my plates have my new address he was just gonna ask me to move my Jeep. So when he came up to the door and rang the door bell (yeah) Easton used his switch and spiders went everywhere and it happened right as I started walking across the street.
So he said it was pretty neat, as I glare at the kiddos. He was nice enough to allow me to back my Jeep up a few more feet to be 12 feet from the corner.

So yeah on a more normal note lol I promised pics of the tank since it’s been about 60 days since the move.

Lol a selfie stick, what is that? I’m thinking like a camera in a long stick, then I download to my laptop perhaps. Yes I feel like a t-Rex when it comes to arms lol and it really really is annoying trying to clean and or reach the bottom of my tank, with out taking a bath in it and drowning lol. Idaho is crazy strict, it’s beyond me how it works. I thought the cross walk law was every where, it’s annoying to find we only do it.

@vetteguy53081 thanks and it’s trying to recover still kinda sad I lost as many corals as I did. It will take some time and (it’s not that I can’t afford it but more like) make sure it’s rebuilt it’s foundation.
I’m still curious if adding seed was the reason most of my gha went away. It’s introducing bacteria so it maybe that there is more bacteria competing. I still am told it’s a horrible idea, (probably wouldn’t add when I was at my old house). But maybe the flow in the new structure is better and I still have two wave makers I need to add that current usa sent me. I’m trying to get flow above 30,000.

oh and I helped dress my niece for boo at the zoo and it turned out really good.

Ahhh thanks that means a lot. Most of my family asked why I didn’t major in art or something related. I was just fascinated when I hit marine biology as an advanced hs course and off I went.

I am curious as to when I should cease dosing the seed once a week. I use actually quiet a bit less than it calls for. But so far it has had impressive implications and now I have to find away to get rid of aptasia. They are sprouting up in more places than I’d like. I hate when they get in the places right next to sps or sensitive coral. Need to find something else because aptasia x isn’t working too well. I think they have adapted to it and immune to it. But I am letting them get bigger because they say it’s easier to hit the center.
Like also adding the extra two wave makers I’m not sure atm I want to change much. How things are really has surprised me. One of flaws is we try to do too much and then it gets ruined. Might stick with the idea of leaving things alone unless it needs addressing. Which also reminds me about the flatworm exit. So the three corals I have dipped, I did again and nothing has come off. Should I dose it just for the heck of it to see what happens lol. I moved my micromusa up so it was not getting blasted by sand from the goby and that has been a great positive. As much as people claim, that acans and micromusa need low light, mine seem to be doing better with higher light and more flow. My lord acan is fairly high and pretty good flow and it’s look neat. Still need to learn how to reproduce what my tank looks like because when I do pics they are just on my phone. I don’t have any filters etc, but it’s soo much more colorful in person than on my phone.

Currently I am running I think 60-80 oz and I will add a second one right before I dose it. If I see a whole ton popping up as they die, then I will siphon them out and have a good 60 gallons of new saltwater on hand. I have 30 now but I don’t have a huge closet down stairs like in my old house. So I keep empty jugs outside and I have 30 gallons of saltwater outside in my jugs. I don’t know if it goes bad (it’s sealed in the water jugs), but it’s been super cold and I’d obviously let it warm up. But not sure if I should dump it or use it when I do the flat worm exit. Worse is I can’t remember (which ones I filled) meaning I went back and read posts here, and I bought fritz from one and instant ocean from the other. When I moved I used the fritz, and had issues (not sure what the main problem was but when I went back and did instant ocean things went better. Well the 6 out there were all marked rodi and when I went to use one it was salty. So I tests and well it was salt, and so was the rest that I didn’t know I had. So I can’t remember if I got these at my normal lfs that does instant ocean or the other that does fritz. But it’s driving me nuts but not worth 60 dollars (still hurts); to make my tank angry. I have noticed my filter socks fill up crazy fast like every three days I have to exchange them.

Today I also did a small dose of reef roids just to see if corals respond which they did. But I will have to test nitrates etc tomorrow and and test cal and alk to see if the tank is staying stable at 1.5 tablespoons of each daily. I also have to dose mag which I have learned that if it’s a tad high kills gha also so maybe if I keep things this way things will just grow and stay healthy. I have documented everything on paper this time so I can trace from day one to now. I still have to find a new home for a frag of forest fire digi. One does great in one section and the other is mad on the other side so it’s not chemistry and it’s by other acros that do very well. I may just move it to the other side but I usually split them up so I can try and save a colony of it goes south.

Lol oh lol do I have an rodi unit, lol it’s like is your tank wet yet . I wish I did but nope and granted I praised this home designer because they were smart and added a bathroom down stairs. But the kitchen is sooo poorly designed it almost negates the positives. But I did attempt but would have to hire a plumber to actually do it. From what I can see all of the pipes go straight down and then across the floor Joyce’s. My sink oddly doesn’t have a hose sprayer which is a first for me. But even when I moved in a plumber had to come out because my hot water section for the washer the old hose wouldn’t come off (from prior tenant, and they melted the plastic around it. So he had to turn the water off and install a whole new pipe and valve etc. but when I asked him if there was a way I could pipe the unit into the washer section, he said not with out ripping the dry wall off and re doing the pipes. Now I’m not a plumber so not sure if one still could but from when he looked he said, if I did it under the sink I would have to cut pipes, and or washer section would have to cut the dry wall. But I did think about it, and I actually want one but I want it where it makes life easier. Once I build my own home it’s 100% going in and I want an actual room that links to my tank.

Has anyone had those creepy dreams where one drowns or something tragic happens? I know it’s actually normal in rem sleep for this to occur. But every time it has happened to me I always drown and wake up in a panic. So yeah looks like I’m avoiding water sports and errrr so much for a bath once in a while, I’d hate to drown with a bunch or bubbles. Knowing my luck first responders would be hmmmm is that bubble bath or is she blowing bubble at us? But I mean if it’s gonna happen, (which it’s normal when one does), it would be nice if my own brain would avoid something it knows for certain I’m terrified of. I mean good grief lol my brain can’t be any more creative instead of always coming up with the same method but different scenarios? Obviously this is a sign for me to avoid any water deeper than one inch lol. Looks like my tank is just out of luck on some things .

I know right I have these huge tanks and afraid of water. Actually I’m not super afraid of water, but definitely don’t wanna drown in it. Swimming in the ocean was different and you have to be careful there, especially with rip tides etc. (I have always known to swim with the shore line to get out and or let it take you out and then swim sideways (sand let the waves bring you back in (not sure if that works never had to do it but I always remember it. When I visited Florida when ever I was in the ocean at first I used a life vest, which I got odd looks for. But oh well lol, it was fun to float and do no effort at all. My phone always changes joist to joyce and I kinda gave up changing it back every time. Hopefully I know what they are since I had to reinforce the darn things.

I left the valve on and forgot to turn it off lol I now set a timer/alarm to remind me to shut it off. When I get the storage bins for my new setup I'll run an auto shutoff valve so when the containers get full it will shut the system off on it's own. And I'm just popping in

I think my Lt tang has some internal parasite so with that said can I use prazipro in my tank? I can’t catch him to put in a separate tank which is the main issue.
