I have a 10g I use for QT. It previously held fish with uronema and velvet. I know the velvet dies off when the tank is dry but what about uronema? Can I reuse the tank? It has been sitting dry for a year. Cleaning it with vinegar now. I have another tank I could use if this isn’t suitable.

I usually bleach a tank that has had disease in it to remove any biofilm. Rinse and dry. And then vinegar the tank to precipitate any copper left over from treatments. Rinse and dry. Good to go. But if you are really concerned, read a study by a lab awhile ago that also suggested hydrogen peroxide because it attacks and dissolves carbon based materials completely. It's what they use in the lab to clean equipment. Wear gloves and eye protection at all times during cleaning, that stuff H2O2, makes my fingers kinda, burn/bubble, etc.

Funny you say peroxide... after writing the post I realized there was no reason not to use all different equipment. I have everything. So, I’m using that. I cleaned the new tank (it is brand new) with peroxide because I saw a study that it kills better than bleach.

I’ll finish the vinegar bath on this old tank and then peroxide it thoroughly.

Thanks!
