So the mystery is finally over. Over the last three years I have occasionally lost a fish or two. Could never pinpoint why. So recently I embarked in a tankDNA test from AquaBiomics and the results are in….URONEMA in my system. Good to know but know the challenge is apparent. Is there any treatment I can do to the whole system with the fish in (Angels, Wrasse, Tangs, grouper, rabbit and eel)?

You can try dosing metro, but theres a pretty strong change there will still be Uronema. Once its in a tank, theres not really a good way of getting it out, even with a fallow.
That is what my understanding is too. I am being hopefully there is a way. Mother wise it will be pull the fish, drain the system, sterilize the system. It is 800 gallons with a ton of big fish so it would be a huge task!

Uronema does not effect healthy fish, it is not an obligate parasite either. Keeping your fish in tip top shape will help, maybe install a UV (big one for you lol)
