So I got some Chromis and other fish from Live Aquaria. Started Paraguard in QT (half dose). 2nd day one chrome died. 3rd day another died. 4th day I see another chrome is showing the red bruise. In my QT I have a YT, Star Blenny, Dragonet, and three chromes left. The remaining fish show no signs of anything. Should I just tear down the whole tank and reorder new fish, minus chromis, or continue using paraguard and see what happens? Can any of these fish enter my DT ever? I have two clowns in it right now and I've read they could get it. I'm not seeing anything online about whether these fish can be saved or if I need to remove all the live rock and filter floss in the QT and start anew. Water Parameters: 78 degrees. 1.025. zero ammonia. 10 nitrate. The qt has been up and running for 3 months. It's seeded and all. Thanks!

That’s what they look like at Petco !!

Paraguard isn’t shown to be effective against uronema. You should treat all fish in the same tank even if they’re not showing symptoms as the disease is internal initially.

This isn’t good! Wonder if these fish was in the same holding tank as others and plumped in to their main tank. Was thinking about ordering a new fish for my tank as well. But not thru LA!

I have 1 healthy and fat chromis in my main tank that was really worried about uronema so I QT’d him for 4 months!

Did you ever add them to the display tank?

All the chromis died. I had the rest of the fish in quarantine with them. One day I decided to look under the microscope in my DT. Uronema was there. So in went the surviving quarantine fish. I read it is present in most tanks, just because fish can carry it and show no signs. My fish have shown no strange red spots or anything. It’s fine. Coral are fine. I wouldn’t sweat it, unless you have chromis or the other fish that really get it easily.
