USA based ICP testing

Keep in mind that nitrate and phosphate levels will probably go up each day in transit.
Phosphate (as Phosphorus) has been shown many times to decrease over time due to what is assumed to be biological action in the sample in the time period between the sample being taken and tested.

Nitrate and Alkalinity are not measured by the ICP process but by using some other test method.
I don't see why reported NItrate would be affected by transit time unless consumed biologically.

Oceamo uses procedures to prevent such growth.

Why is that?

Depending on the biology in the sample, the organics could be slowly consumed, just as in reef water. This is why ocean water testing is preferred to be done immediately on the boat after the samples are collected.

I forgot the icp is for elements only; but if they do also provide nitrate etc also, it could apply.

What I would like to know is why this company is still selling ICP test, knowing full well that they are out of business?

Reef Moonshine sells them
Their Reef Moonshiner's ICP-MS and Reef Moonshiner's ICP-OES test? It does say powered by Oceamo. They send those out to Austria? Isn't their program weekly ICP (talking to myself here, seems expensive :) )? I don't know the details to be fair.

It seems AquaBiomics had it on their site at one point but that link is dead.

Yes, they somehow get to Oceamo.

If I were to send out an ICP, that is what I would do. Other companies may also be suitable. I'm not dissing them all, I just have reason to have confidence in Oceamo, and no particular reason to have confidence or lack of confidence in other companies. Triton likely is also adequately knowledgeable. I will note that if you are trying to get good quantitation of certain trace metals at near natural levels, ICP-MS will be needed and not all companies do that.
