Use of decorative castle

Setting up a new 65g tank. Going to put in 60 lbs dry rock, , 30-40 lbs live rock and couple inches of black grave. Wanted to scape around the penn-plex small castle. Says save for saltwater. Any suggestions?

IMHO the cheezy decorations have no place in a reef tank. Furthermore I don't trust any plastic/ceramic decoration made in Southeast Asia to saltwater (it is corrosive after all).

Normally, I wouldn't put decorations in my tank, but my son bought me a plastic alligator skull (about eight or so inches long, 4 inches wide) for my tank as a gift. I've had it in my tank for over a year without problems. I scrub it off on occasion. Keep in mind I've also worn rubber band earrings he made for me to work as a kind gesture for the very excited little boy.

Thanks so much for your reply! Great to know!! The Penn Plax resin decorations say they are safe for saltwater, so I may give it a try. I plan to place it in my scape so I can easily take it out for cleaning if needed, or remove it if I run into any issues/concerns with it corroding.
