Use of seachem prime ? Good practice

Is it safe/ good practice to use seachem prime as a regular addition to RODI water just in case there are chemicals in the water not removed by the RODI filters. I often wonder if those unexpected coral deaths are brought on by something in the water change.

You shouldn't have to use a chemical in rodi water. Test your water before unit and after unit that will let you know what your water is really like

No, if your final effluent TDS is 0 ppm, there's nothing of any significance in your RO/DI water. If things aren't doing well in your tank, something else is going on.

Agreed with the above. If its reading 0 on the TDS, I would not add prime.

Have you tested for total chlorine? I've had it sneak through RO/DI before.

IMO, if the water is 0 ppm TDS, it is a wasted effort.
