Hello !

I recently got my hands on 50m PVC hose 3/4` 19/22 mm, for such a great deal I had to buy it.

However I wonder if hoses like these are ok to use with only hose clamp (reeftank in my livingroom)? or do you always have to glue PVC hoses? or can I treat it as any other ordinar (like say green eheim) aquarium hose?

Best regards,
Stan

I have used flexible pvc in saltwater systems. Even 316SS clamps rust. I always prep with solvent/primer than I glue with appropriate cement for each type of pvc. Consult the manufacture‘s technical specs. Saltwater on the living room floor is never an acceptable option.

PS
while I don’t read the language, the Amazon link you provided shows the glue, you should use.
