Used kessil light question

Mounted 6" above the surface, the two A360WEs will cover the tank (end to end with good overlap in the center) and work for a mixed reef. If you end up getting light intensive corals at some (higher demand acroporas), a third will be necessary but you'll no issues with softies, LPS, and lower demand SPS (most montis, birdnest, etc.). I would expect max PAR on the sand to be around 100-150 in areas of overlap and approx 250 about 4-5" below the surface.

madweazl, a question:

About 3" below the surface, and centered with the kessil, you think the PAR is 300 + ?

If you mount below the surface, the corals will be electrocuted LOL. I know what you meant.

Getting a little close to surface and moisture but your par should be good. I believe you will get more surface coverage if you went to 5-6" above surface. If you take any pendant light and hold it to floor, it will appear as a circle. As you elevate it, you will notice more area being illuminated.

Yes but I also believe it would be extremely foolish to place a coral there as it would block light from anything below it and wouldn't allow any room for growth vertically. Just under the surface of the water with the array 5" above the water line, it will produce approx 460 PAR (60-65% color).

Ah nice! About blocking the light, there is no problem, because it´s for a especific display structure with Croceas and LPS :D
