Used live rock.... what to do?

Question about reusing live rock. I picked up a bunch (60-70 lbs worth) for my 75 that I'm getting ready to cycle from a couple different folks. Some of it has run of the mill palys and some mushrooms on it and the rest is dry in buckets. I can't verify it if is pest free so naturally I'm a little wary of just adding it. Is boiling it necessary or will I just end up killing everything? I would do it all outside so the palys won't kill me. Thoughts? Tips? Thanks in advance for the assist!

DON'T BOIL IT!

It can release the toxins and send you/family to the hospital or kill you.

What I'd do is dry out the rock and then get a big enough container or brute trashcan and do a bleach cure for two weeks. Then after the two weeks rinse the rock off in water and do the normal cure in salt water. Doing a 100% water change every week for 4-6 weeks depending on the organics on it. If the water is clear and the rocks smell fresh you are good to go.

Did you see the tanks the live stuff came out of? How did they look? If they looked good I'd reuse them. The dry stuff needs to be acid bathed, and or cooked for a month. Look up live rock cooking.
