Picked up a used MP10 QD and it’s insanely loud. Louder than everything else on the tank combined. I’m probably being dramatic but it feels like a crop dusting propeller plane is taking off from my bedroom lol

Does this mean the wet side needs replacing or did I just buy a lemon?

Try rotating the dry side slightly to see if it quiets down. You could also try to clean and reassemble.

Just a thought. Did you try to move wetside around to silence? If so maybe take apart clean and lubricate with some glycerin food grade oil. If this doesn’t work reach out to Ecotech. Their customer service is top notch

Yeah probably the wetside. Or if you're maxing out the glass thickness, it'll be louder than normal.

Wetsides are consumables, they don't last forever. Still not cool on the sellers part.

See if you can identify if it’s the wet side or dry side.
If dry size over time the motor can wear away at some of the washers and shred itself

bought an MP10 for $50 and had the same problem.
My fault for not asking for audio on the video showing it in “working condition”

What’s your glass thickness? 3/8 is the max as per specs. If it’s more, the sides slide against each other.

It’s a 25 lagoon; so 8mm I believe.
