Used MP40 won’t connect

So I bought a used MP40qd and it won’t show up on Mobius . I’ve done both factory resets and the W just stays yellow . Any suggestions? It’s not showing up in update legacy devices either . Kinda sucks

Depending on how old it is it might not have the chip for Mobius. I believe some of the older devices have the chip for Reeflink only.

Unplug it and open up the controller by unscrewing the 3 screws on the back, pop the dial off and open the case up if it has a green chip on I think a blue circuit board, then you just need to buy the black mobius chip.
Its an easy swap no soldering or anything.
