Used Powerheads and Ich

I bought a few used powerheads from R2R members. How can I be sure they don't have ich or some other disease?

I have disassembled them, given then strong vinegar bath (50% vinegar to 50% RODI), toothbrush cleaned them, dried them and ran them in RODI for a day.

Anything else I can do to ensure no ich????

I just did 72 days fallow.......

If they came to you bone dry then you really dont have much to worry about. Your vigorous cleaning took care of any fears you might have as well. No worries!

Is that really all there is to it? Makes me nervous about using them!

soak them in some white vinegar and that will clean them up.

You should be good to go. A good cleaning and and some dry time

^^ Agree with above. 72 hours drying time would be ideal, same as we do for TTM. Use a fan on it if you want to be extra cautious.
