I bought a used ro/di system about a month ago from someone local and I'm just now getting around to setting it up and learning about it. I was hoping someone here could look at the pictures and give me an idea of where to even connect the in-line to the water source [emoji28] I can't figure this out...it also looks like a part of it broke off a while ago. Is there a way I can fix it? Also, what kind of Spectra ro/di system did I buy? Thanks for your help!

Ohh, that's the big boy. My spectrapure is only a 75gpd, with only one RO membrane, Yours seems to have two on top.

You should end up with three raw hoses. There should be no loops. - On mine black is water inlet, Yellow for waste outlet, Blue for RODI outlet.

I also believe you have the ASO valve referenced in this diagram.

Notice that the diagram only shows two prefilters. You have four total filters on your RO/DI.
Two of your filters are the two listed above - Sediment and Carbon
After your RO membrane, the water should go to the other two - MaxCap and Silica Buster. From there your RO/DI water is ready for use.

As for the broken fitting, the filters have NPT - pipe threading. You can go to your local hardware store and pick up a plastic push-fitting with an NPT threading that will directly replace the broken fitting.

Thank you so much for the diagrams and information! This is really helpful. I'm glad I'll be able to pick up a new fitting from the hardware store for the one that broke off and hopefully I'll be able to make water soon :)
