I just got a used tank from a distant family member that passed away. It is 36" x 36" x 21" all exterior dimensions the glass is 3/8" thick. I will be filling it up tonight to see if it leaks I just cant find anything online with these dimensions any of yall have any insight into this kind of tank. I hope I don't have to reseal it if I do I might just get a new one since I have the stand for one just gotta be able to find one.

yes It Is a cube and the volume when I calculated it was 115. It is kinda a pain in the butt I cant find anyone with another like it. I am trying to price out all the supplies like rock, sand, lights and powerheads.

well cube-ish

dont worry about the brand or similar. just that it holds water, if it was empty for a wile there coud be a dry seam. test it outside for a couple days to week to makes sure it doesn't leak.

Got it filled up on the back porch gonna leave it for a couple days. I will probably start a build thread document start to finish this will be my biggest tank ever im upgrading from a 29 gallon lol. I will need lots of advice on this build.

If it leaks I would reseal that beauty.

Try to check if the glass is tempered and which panes of glass are tempered. I would look into drilling it to get yourself a sump.

Would be sweet if you can get he middle bottom drilled and set up a center column overflow and return. Walk around cube tank for the win! I believe most of the time bottoms are tempered though.

Agreed it is very simple with a little elbow grease. That tank is a great size

Post a link to your build thread in here when you start it. I would love to follow it
