Used tank prices

So lately I've been scouring the local ads for a good deal on a tank to use for a diy sump and noticed the price some people are still asking for them. I know rimless or reef ready tanks can still be quite pricey used but these are just run of the mill rimmed tanks. Some of them are just comical at what they're asking. Don't get me wrong they're free to price it at whatever price they want but sometimes you gotta be realistic. Here's a few

$50 for a bare 10g
$600 for a 55g with stand
$120 for a 20g and 10g
$100 for a bare 55g that has so much hard water stains you can barely see into it
$75 for a 5g starter kit

Anything over 1$/gal for an aqueon/petsco/petsmart tank isn’t worth it

yeah are they selling? I am gonna load up all my used tanks and take a road trip to your area and sale them all.

i look at stuff on craigslist all the time and laugh at the prices...not just fish but automotive, tools,building supplies...and a week later the ad is gone...i cant believe someone actually paid that much...maybe the game is list it for $500 and then take $50 for it?
