Used Uv sterilizer

I picked up a uv sterilizer (aqua ultraviolet 25w) for $30 but it's a tad bit dirty and I'm not sure how to clean it any tips? I'll need it in about a month when my velvet treatment is over

Get a new bulb for it, they are only good for up to 1 year...the good ones will have a uv strength meter installed on them so you know when to change the bulb.

You can use bleach to clean it out and sterilize it then rinse it out with clean water

You will probably also need to clean the quartz sleeve (assuming your model has one).

Yup, UV loses effectiveness due mainly to two reasons: worn out bulb and gunked up quartz sleeve.
