Used water containers for mixing - bad idea?

Do you believe they're fine and would pick them up?

Found these on a market place, thinking about picking them up to use for saltwater mixing. Terrible idea? Any suggestions to ensure they're safe to use?

The current owner says:

"Reverse Osmosis water delivered by a water company" is what it was used for. Thinking it would be safe, still want feedback though.

Sounds like it would be. That's the RO water before it goes through the DI. Only other thing, do the tops come off completely so you can clean salt residue/buildup inside?

She is not certain, sounds like it's from a business. Was thinking I would check, and if they appear clean, and the lids come off, I would just grab them. They're $25 a piece.

yeah, just give fill them up with rodi and let them soak for a few days.

Unfortunately the picture is a bit misleading. There is no lid, it's all one giant container, no way to open besides the holes on the top.

I would pick them up! It seems like a good price, and I’m sure that there is a cleaning solution that you could use to make sure it’s safe.
