Got this used 90 gallon for free and it came with this stand. I'm going to sand it and put a fresh coat of paint. But otherwise is there anything you would add to it? Does the support seem enough? It doesn't have a bottom panel of plywood that my sump would sit on. Should I add one ?
I guess im maybe just being paranoid? It sits level and seems sturdy. But it isnt 2x4 wood in the corners . Guess im asking should i go ahead and use this stand or just build a new one?

If you are handy, I'm not, build a new one.
It doesn't look that bad but it's really just a shell. I have a 75 which, dimensions wise is the same as the 90.
My stand has a top and bottom.
You can add a bottom, add 2×4 braces on middle and side then a top and you'll have a tank of a stand.
Make sure to put your sump in before the top lol.
Hope that helps and good luck.

I've used a couple of those exact stands and while they seem light weight, the ones I used held up.
They all were used when I got them and I did go over them with a few improvements.
I would add a bottom. I would also add some cleats on the ends to help support the bottom.
On one I removed the top center brace to drop in the bottom plywood. I cut out for the vertical support boards.
I don't remember if I added vertical support boards. Might be something to look at.
I did use a good wood glue and screws.
I think I also used just screws on the top center brace. The sumps I used ( I think they were 40 gallon breeders)
All of the extra wood I used was 1x4 material except for the plywood bottom.
