Users opinions Koralia controllable pumps

I've got a 245g and am considering the 4 way Koralia controller with either four #7 or 8's. They are half the price of vortech's and I can get twice the flow of the vortechs for less than the cost of 2 mp40's. The vortech has a nice fancy controller but beyond that between the noise complaints and repair frequency I'm having problems investing 500 per head with the Vortechs. Experience from anyone using these controllable Koralia's would be very helpful.

Thanks for the reply. Not getting much feedback from those with controlable Koralia's - maybe to limited in capability. Back to considering Tunze, IMO vortech are to low quality - high repair/maintance for 465 per head. Wish I could match the vortech controller with the tunze pump quality. Now that would be an exceptional value.

Decided not to waste $ and went with the Tunze 6105's and the 7096 controller. Just installed yesterday so wtill playing with the unit and position. My acro's and ish love the pulsating flow. Glad I went big and only bought once this time.

I would buy them because of cost and quality. I have a 140 gal tall with #7 magnums (2) and have plenty of current. With the light sensor to turn flow down to slow setting as the lights turn off / dim and feed mode options. I don't even have it turned up all the way. I now use 2 return nozzles to get water flow to the back of reef which is helpful. If you buy them and don't like them you can give them to me. I got mine from liveaquaria.

I have an mp40 and mp10 and love them both. Never had a problem with either (noise or anything else for that matter). Koralias on the other hand are garbage IMO.
