Uses of carbon

I’m using a duel carbon/gfo reactor. Is it ok for me to run both items none stop? If I change out the carbon every two weeks and gfo every month?

It is ok to run them 24/7 as long as your tank needs it. If you don't have a phosphate issue, than I wouldn't run the GFO at all. I do run carbon all the time.
